The history of Draconia is laden with mystery, however what is known is that at one point, it was called Earth. That's right, the world of Draconia is our world 1,000 years into the future. In the year 2076 weredragons had been discovered. But where they had been hiding for so long, nobody knows. However, in 2154, weredragons, with their surprisingly perfect human forms, began to mate with common humans. Thus producing the Draco-sapien.
Draco-sapiens were made by crossing human and weredragon chromosomes. In other words: Dracos were created by the accidental mating of humans and weredragons.
The first Draco-sapiens began to appear about 200 years before The Last Battle, the battle that all but wiped out the human race, the remaining humans left Earth because of dwindling numbers to rebuild their numbers, knowing the draco's reproductive rates were so rapid, they would outnumber their prey and either learn to adapt and not breed as frequently, lor they would starve themselves to extinction. So, they left Dracos behind to begin to populate the earth. The first Dracos were not documented by breed as they are today, instead, they were allowed to run wild and free without descrimination of their bloodlines, mating with any they deemed fit enough to mate with.
During the two hundred years, Dracos reproduced rapidly, producing as many as 20 eggs per clutch. But just because they had high birth ratings, did not mean the young always survived, anywhere from five to all of the eggs in a clutch can be smashed, stolen, and preyed upon, and so leading to the conclusion that even hatching the young could be dangerous.
After a while, humans returned to Earth, many generations later, They began to tame the dracos, the earliest taming is that of Suzano, a Buck of graceful, slender proportion and great speed, and also of Catrinya, a femme that may have lacked athletic abilities, but was a decent parenting figure, these two were bred, and produced the first tame-born Dracos.
Despite being human-born, they lack the free will of their human side, but are far more intelligent than the average dragon. But weredragons, being human-like themselves, were just as intelligent, but like their Draco-descendants, they lacked free will. Eventually, weredragons died out, replaced with Draco-sapiens, in their stead.
