The sun was just starting to break over the trees that surrounded the six acres and the cute little home at one side. A rooster crowed followed by the sounds of panicking chickens. A hatchling, a Draco, was chasing them around. She wouldn't hurt them, at least not on purpose. She was just playing with them. She bounded after them in his small dragon form, barely standing as tall as a Border collie in this form. She chased them around for a few minutes, then hopped back out of the coop, before playing with the goats now. They seemed to take turns rearing up and kicking their forelegs at each other. Then they'd headbutt each other. It was all just fun and games, none of the animals would hurt Sam, and Sam wouldn't hurt them either, she was too sweet of a hatchling to do any harm to anything intentionally.

The sunlight shone through the window in Jim's room He awoke to hearing the commotion outside With a smile he said to himself "Sam's up" Jim then began to prepare himself for the day He made breakfast for both himself and Sam he made himself pancakes eggs Bacon and toast for Sam he made her eggs bacon and toast and put some of his pancakes with her food as well He then headed out on the porch with both plates "Sam!" he called in a gentle tone "Breakfast!" She came as he handed her plate "Let's eat" Once breakfast was finished and the dishes were cleaned it was time to get to work Which meant getting dirtyJim didn't mind this was something he was instilled with from childhood so he felt this could be passed on to his hatchling Once out in the feild, he took few seeds from his pouch and dug a few holes placing them in the ground and covering them with dirt "See that sweetheart, this is how we get our veggies" He continued this for a while longer before watering them. Now that the seeding was done they could rest for a bit "How nice is this Sam? Peaceful mornings good breakfasts and lots of room for play" Milling it over for a moment, Jim had a idea"Sam you wanna go for a swim? Seems like a good day for it" Besides we don't need to feed the animals anytime soon

As Jim explained to Sam that veggies grew in the ground, she looked around "What about that?" she said pointing over to an apple tree. "Why do those grow on trees and not in the ground?" she asked with a head tilt. He called her sweetheart and her tail thumped happily beside her as she watched her friend as hh worked. As they relaxed on the porch she stretched slightly as he asked how nice this charming little farm was and smiled up at him saying "It's pretty..." she said, looking around. The small chicken coop witgh only about 8 chickens, 9 counting the rooster, and four goats. It wasn't too much, but it was enough to start. and it was all Jim could afford to care for at the moment, but she herself had no big expectations, as long as there was something to do all the time. When he mentioned going for a swim, she jumped up, draconian tail wagging in a similar way to a dog as she said "Yay! Swimming!" Jumping around gleefully.

Sam's question about apple trees made Jim smile"Some plants bear fruit from trees like apples and bananas because their seeds are from trees and once planted they become trees that bear fruit and certain fruit come out of the land because they need the soil to spread their roots to feed in order to become bigger " Jim took a apple from the tree and gave it to Sam "I'm happy you like it here
